Continuing education – Home study courses and workshops are CE approved by NETA, NASM, ACE, WITS, and ISSA. CE for other organizations may be petitioned for by the fitness professional.

EmpowerUSA has been training and developing personal safety/self-defense instructors since 1990. EmpowerUSA’s personal safety/self-defense instructor training program provides in-depth information, methods, and strategies for personal safety, along with simple, practical, effective, and realistic physical self-defense skills.

Kickboxing Fitness Instructor Training
EmpowerUSA has been training and developing kickboxing fitness instructors since 1995 via live workshops and correspondence training programs. Tim co-authored A.C.E.’s original Kickboxing Fitness Training Manual. He then authored his own training manual, Martial Fitness Kickboxing, in 1997.

C4-A-R-B Training
C4-A-R-B is an acronym for very important components of an overall wellness and fitness program. The course provides written instructions (with potential modifications) and video demonstrations of various drills and activities that focus on enhancing and improving the following:

Active Aging Fitness & Wellness – Boxing-Kickboxing-Martial Arts
This program provides instruction and information necessary to design, develop and teach/lead safe, effective Boxing, Kickboxing & Martial Arts-based fitness workouts for the Active Aging population! It includes instruction on how to adapt these specific types of workouts to all levels of functionality, no matter what age (Active Aging is not defined by a number!)! Boxing, Kickboxing & Martial Arts activities enhance balance, agility, reaction time, coordination, cognitive function, muscular & cardiovascular conditioning, and flexibility!
